This is an all weather bird carrier.
In warm dry weather, the stainless steel mesh provides excellent ventilation and a full view,
especially good for birds that panic in an enclosed space.
The mesh is sturdy enough to stand alone without collapsing, but light enough to make transportation
from one location to another easy.
The bird is placed into the tote from the top, and then Velcro secured to keep the bird contained. In the event of rain or wind, the carrier has a plastic cover that fits over the tote. Caution must be used when using the plastic cover in warm temperatures, as the cover will create a greenhouse effect in direct sunlight. If the weather is cooler, a blanket cover will fit over the plastic cover to keep the bird warm and dry. The tote also serves as an overnight sleeping cage. |

The Tote A Pet is equipped with a perch to allow
the bird a comfortable and secure ride. The mesh and plastic base is resistant
to damage from a bird that likes to chew. Play toys and drinking bottles
or cups can be securely fastened to the mesh. The mesh also prevents the
bird from accessing the plastic and blanket covers. This tote gives your pet the opportunity to accompany you on your walks, or to be taken into buildings and areas that require your pet to be contained. My parrot likes to ride in his tote. He enjoys an expanded view of the world outside the home, sitting contently on the perch until we arrive at our destination. |
The tote can be adapted to carry other small animals by
removing the 2 screws, which hold the perch in place.
