She takes me everywhere with her because I like to travel. I have a perch on the window as a passenger, but I prefer to sit on her shoulder and talk to her or sing with her as she sings with the radio. Here's a picture of me at work with mom.
I go to work with mom to keep her company. I have lots of toys and perches there to keep me busy, and when she leaves her office I jump to her desk and try to type or make phone calls. Sometimes I fly down and follow her without her knowing. If I run quickly across the floor I can catch her, and if I make a (gack gack) sound she knows I am there, and quickly picks me up.
I love to cuddle with my mom or lay on my back for a belly rub. My mom sometimes tries to tickle my belly. I also love to go outside with her and sit in the sun.
I am a fussy eater and that frustrates mom at times. I know she is trying to get me to eat my veggies for my own good - but broccoli - come on! I wait until my mom isn’t looking, then I throw it all to the bottom of the cage so I don’t have to eat it.
Here is a picture of me at my first show on October 5, 2003. I was somewhat nervous, but managed to get through it. As you can see I am no worse for wear.
