Here are some pictures are of Yeti our male moluccan.

Yeti is a real character. He likes to come out some time each day. He babbles
away and laughs - thinking that he is carrying on a conversation, but it's just
babble so far. However, occasionally you can catch a word here and there.
Yeti was on TVseveral times for the purpose of advertising bird shows, and he
was always a hit. Everyone asks,"What did he say?". My husband makes up the
appropriate response, such as, "He says he's happy to be here." And when they
ask, "Why is be babbling on like that, my husband says, "He's a bird with a
story to tell. He can talk for hours when he finds someone to listen." Whenever
we go to bird shows, people come up to us and say, "You're Yeti's parents. We
saw you with him on TV. He was so funny."
At home Yeti loves to chew up cardboard boxes. He also enjoys fuzzy materials.
One of his favorite toys is a fuzzy washable dog house. He goes in there and
clucks around, chews up paper, tosses it out, and generally has a good time
making a mess.
Yeti eats Tropican pellets as his main food. He gets a piece of peanut buttered
toast each morning and some fruits and veggies in the later afternoon. He particularly
likes bananas. When he gets a chunk of banana he peels it and eats the inside
carefully so as not to waste a morsel.
Yeti travels well. He seems to enjoy going into his medium sized dog kennel
and travelling in the car. Maybe he knows he is going to a bird show or something
else exciting.
Yeti is a great pet.

Here is a picture of Yeti in his outside cage. It is a Beretta Cage and is great for cockatoos.
Since they are great escape artists, they can figure out how to open most cages.
But the Beretta has a sliding rod that keeps the door closed and I've never had a cockatoo escape from one.
The chunk of wood is there for him to destroy when he's in the mood.
